I call this the 'wow!' tour - because every time you go around another bend, you see something that just makes you say, 'Wow!'

I can describe this trip using only two words: completely amazing. Everything Bicycle Adventures has given me on my three trips can be described by these two words.
James P.
Boynton Beach, Florida
I've no doubt that this trip will be considered one of the best I've had. The scenery was truly stunning - you appreciate it even more when you're cycling through it.

My life prior to this trip was meaningless.
Jonathan R.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Guides Ginger and Karie's energy and support were amazing.  Kudos!
Tom & Mary H.
Petoskey, MI
The whole trip from start to finish is amazing. The guides are accommodating and a pleasure.  All you have to do is pedal, eat (drink) and sleep. These trips allow me to go off-grid - I rarely check email, cellphone, texts or the news and that allows me to be totally refreshed. When I return to the office, my work friends are jealous!
Harvey M.
Newark, DE
This was our second Bicycle Adventures trip, and they only get better. The trip surpassed all our expectations! We appreciated the support and planning that allowed us to cycle amazing terrain and log lots of miles that we would logistically never have been able to do on our own. The scenery was breathtaking and got ‘bigger and better’ as the tour progressed.
Jeff & Ann G.
Alpena, MI
Totally complete with great planning, service & support. Able to adjust routine to fit every group.

Meet in Whitefish. Ride into Glacier National Park, finishing in West Glacier.

Meet us in the charming resort town of Whitefish, Montana, on a Saturday morning. Bicycle a lightly traveled scenic forest road toward Glacier National Park.  Lunch beside the river, then pedal along lush alpine meadows. Stroll the shores of Lake McDonald this afternoon. Rest up in West Glacier for a big day tomorrow.

Ride the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Logan Pass.

Bicycle Going-to-the-Sun Road, one of America’s very best one-day rides. Ride past waterfalls, evergreen forests, extraordinary snow-capped mountain scenery and sweeping vistas of glacial valleys. Your 21-mile climb to Logan Pass (3,700′ of climbing to reach the 6,646′ summit) is rewarded with a 20-mile gentle downhill on the other side. Tonight: stay at St. Mary's Lodge and Resort. Enjoy the mountain views from the foothills of the majestic Rockies.

Ride from St. Mary's into Canada’s Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

Bike across the border into Canada and Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. Bring your passport! Watch for elk, moose, and bighorn sheep as you cruise along the rolling prairie, overlooked by the craggy peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Stay tonight in charming Waterton townsite, a historic burgh grandfathered into the park.

Ride part of the spectactular Bow Valley Parkway on your way to sparkling Lake Louise.

Travel north to Banff and ride beside the Bow River on the Bow Valley Parkway. Pedal through the virgin evergreen forest of Banff National Park and beside the sparkling river to Lake Louise. This remarkable area is “filled with glittering snowcapped peaks, valleys draped in evergreen forests, turquoise lakes, flowered alpine meadows, glaciers, hot springs, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife,” says National Geographic Traveler. Spend two nights here at Deer Lodge, a guest favorite.

Hike to the Plain of Six Glaciers, or take an optional bike ride.

Turquoise Lake Louise is a sight to behold. Hike beside it up a well-maintained trail to a European style teahouse overlooking the Plain of Six Glaciers. Not up for a hike?  Take a shorter walk, bicycle into adjoining Yoho National Park, get a massage...or just relax at the inn.

Ride the stunning Icefields Parkway, from Lake Louise to Saskatchewan Crossing.

Bicycle along the spectacular Icefields Parkway today. A gradual climb brings you to Bow Summit for lunch. Hike to Peyto Lake - another turquoise jewel - then descend between the peaks on a long, gradual downhill to the Saskatchewan River and our lodging for the night.  Stop at Mistaya Canyon to watch the water from Peyto Lake rush through the narrow canyon on its way to the Saskatchewan River.

Ride the Icefields Parkway from Saskatchewan Crossing to Sunwapta Falls.

Continue riding the Icefields Parkway amid stunning mountain scenery.  Visit the Weeping Wall — a 2,000-foot cliff streaked with multiple waterfalls — as you bicycle to the Columbia Icefield and into Jasper National Park. The Icefield, a relic from the Ice Age, spans 125 square miles with an estimated maximum depth of more than 1,000 feet. Get a close-up view of the famous Athabasca Glacier, a river of ice spilling from majestic peaks. After lunch, ride mostly downhill following the Sunwapta River to Sunwapta Falls Resort.

Hike to Sunwapta Falls. Ride to Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park, then into Banff township.

Take a short hike to view Sunwapta Falls this morning. Afterward, it's off to Banff to ride to a lakeside lunch at Lake Minnewanka, the largest lake in Banff National Park. Following a final 25-mile loop ride through the valley, head to Calgary International Airport, where you can depart for home.
