I had a ball! My guides, Jeff and Brad, ensured that each person had the best vacation possible. They made sure that the slowest person had just as great a time as the head of the group. Food and lodging were exceptional and well thought out.

It's a very relaxing, yet active way to see a really gorgeous place.

The trips are designed so that all levels of ability are accommodated. Everyone can go at their own pace. The guides pamper you (filling water bottles, fixing flats, carrying luggage.) It's great to have the details of hotel and dinner taken care of but still have options for individual activities.

Zion National Park

Placid St. George, Utah: gateway to Zion National Park. Red Navajo sandstone bluffs tower over the dry desert floor; massive, million-year-old peaks edge the sky. Curving walls of orange and gold slot canyons tempt the inquisitive; stunning arches and scenic bluffs beg to be photographed. Bicycle and hike among the skirts of the Pine Valley Mountains, the mesas of Snow Canyon State Park - and the meeting place of three natural wonders: the Mojave Desert and the Great Basin and Colorado Plateaus.

Ride from Gunlock Reservoir to Snow Canyon. Overnight at the Seven Wives Inn.

Meet us in St. George, Utah. Easily accessible from Las Vegas, this quiet town was originally a cotton colony.  We'll head out to Gunlock State Park, a lovely reservoir set beside a road that's part of the Old Spanish Trail. Ride from there to Snow Canyon, named after two early pioneers. No snow here!  Jumbled black lava rock, towering red-and-white sandstone and crystal blue skies make for gorgeous vistas as you ride. Want more time on the bike?  Continue cycling back into the town of St. George and tonight's lodging at the Seven Wives Inn.

Ride Coral Pink Sand Dunes in the morning; hike the Zion Overlook Trail in the afternoon.

This morning, ride or hike in Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, the only major sand dune field on the Colorado Plateau. In the afternoon, hike one of Zion National Park's classics: the Overlook Trail, a short and easy hike with a lot of bang for the buck. Stroll along Pine Canyon past hoodoos, wildflowers and up to a spectacular viewpoint with vistas of lower Zion Canyon's Switchbacks, the Beehives, the Temples, Towers of the Virgin and the Streaked Wall. Breathtaking!

Hike the Virgin River's Narrows slot canyon.

This morning, conditions permitting, hike Zion's stunning Narrows - one of the most memorable places you'll ever visit on foot. This slot canyon, carved by the Virgin River, has walls reaching up to 50' and higher in places, in desert sandstone hues of orange, rose and gold. We'll provide you with 'sticky boots' and walking poles for navigating the slot canyon. This is generally a half-to-full day hike.

Hike Angels Landing, or take a final ride through the stunning canyons of Zion National Park.

This morning, we'll offer two options: hike Angel's Landing, or do another bike ride in Zion National Park. After lunch and a parting toast, we'll shuttle you the short distance back to St. George.
