Who is Liz?
Born in Ohio, Liz has taken a roundabout path to get to the West Coast. Since graduating from Ohio State with a degree in Wildlife Conservation, her previous career in animal care has landed her in Iowa, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Indiana, and New York. Now finally in Washington, she says she can never again live somewhere without mountains. An avid hiker and general outdoor adventurer, Liz hasn’t gotten into cycling…yet. She spends her free time exploring her new home, cuddling her two cats, and planning her next trip.

What was your first bike?
A.
It was a hand-me-down shared among all the cousins one summer. No brakes, no gears, no paint left, and we rode it off the dock into the lake many, many times.
