Who is Pete?

My name is Pete and I enjoy traveling, skiing and wandering in nature. I have been blessed with the opportunity to guide others in the past/present through magnificent landscapes on foot through the Himalaya, Patagonia and other wild wilderness areas of the western U.S. Now I focus more on offering transformational education designed to guide you to become your true self so you can discover your purpose, bring forth your gifts and live the life you are meant to live through Metolius Basin Institute. I believe that this world needs more people living an intentional life, one in alignment with soul and focused on bettering themselves and society so this planet can be sustainable for future generations.

I have always loved biking because it makes me feel like a kid again and brings back those youthful memories of escaping the constraints of rules and responsibility. Sometimes riding the bike when I’m stressed feels like a polite middle finger to the current adversity that I may be experiencing. Biking also helps tone my legs so when I’m feeling like wearing a sarong I can walk in confidence knowing my calves look good.
