Who is Katherine?

Born and raised in Colombia, road biking is in my blood. When I was 13, my father introduced me and my brothers to the world of road cycling, and we never came back! I grew up climbing my Andean mountains as a fun family sport and in the saddle discovered beautiful landscapes, had cultural heartwarming connections, and connected to the land and its geography in ways I am forever grateful for. In college, my bike was my commuter gadget as well as my weekend staple, cycling the Swiss and French alps. I love sharing cycling, working hard both as a team and as an individual to fulfill a goal, and at the end, the reward! Call it dessert, a cold beer on a warm day, or a dip in a cold river after a long ride. Maybe all at once on a Sunday! That’s a perfect day.
Discovering the world on the saddle is beautiful to me. It’s a way to see everything up front, experience it with all your senses and cover a big amount of land while doing so.
