Dear Bicycle Adventures Family,
Thank you for your continued support. Over the last few months, we have received many letters of kindness and encouragement. It’s your positive energy that keeps us excited to forge ahead.
The world has changed, but one thing has stayed the same – our commitment to you and our dedication to delivering safe, awe-inspiring road bike (and sometimes hiking) adventures.
We are optimistic about the future and truly believe that exploring vast landscapes, breathing fresh air and discovering new places on two-wheels is one of the best ways to move forward.
Moving forward will look a little different – with more hand sanitizer and elbow-bumps – but equally as much, if not more, there will be ear-to-ear smiles, and unforgettable experiences.
To help you plan a hassle-free adventure, we have updated our cancellation policy to provide even more flexibility and reassurance. We are also monitoring all departures on a rolling 30-day basis prior to the trip start date (or sooner if possible), and will confirm if the trip is running at that time. We are planning on running all guaranteed tours but recognize that there are factors outside of our control.
Your safety is our primary focus. We are following travel guidelines from local health authorities in each destination, along with recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA). If you would like to read more about our enhanced safety and well-being procedures for our riders and guides, we will be posting those here next week.
If you’re booked on an upcoming Bicycle Adventures tour, you have three options for the time being:
- Wait until we confirm the trip is running (approximately 30 days prior to the trip), at which point we will collect your final balance and help you prepare for the ride.
- Transfer your deposit to another date or destination with no fees.
- Keep your balance on file for any future trip with no expiration.
This year marks our 36th season of operations and we’re looking forward to sharing many more incredible years with you.
