Briana Merrigan
Tour Guide
Who is Briana?
Bri grew up in North Carolina but has called Bend, Oregon home for the last 4.5 years. She has most of her guiding experience as a backpacking guide on the Appalachian Trail, but has also led groups to the jungles of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands as a guide/language interpreter. She fell in love with biking a few years ago after doing her first bikepacking trip on the back of a tandem, and has been riding ever since!
When she’s not biking, Bri is pursuing a Masters in Social Work, working on a local vegetable farm, nannying, going to live music, and enjoying all the seasonal outdoor activities that Bend has to offer. She hopes to combine her passions for nature, adventure and mental health by eventually creating more accessible outdoor therapeutic options in Oregon.
