Who is Piers?
After a couple years leading city tours with BA’s sister company, Cycle Portland, Piers is excited to be taking the leap into longer distance and duration tour guiding. Piers is an adopted Pacific Northwesterner, having moved to Portland in high school after 15 years in Guinea, Morocco, and Uganda. Since completing his studies at Portland State University, he has worked as a web developer in the news industry and as a bookseller, event facilitator, and resident artist at Powell’s City of Books. When he’s not leading bike tours around central Portland, he can be found gardening, carving wooden spoons, devouring science fiction novels, or preparing elaborate meals with friends and family.
