Tracie Smith

Tracie was born and raised in Seattle where regular skiing, camping, and family bike rides instilled a love of the outdoors from a young age. After earning a BS in Psychology from Washington State University it seemed a career in child life therapy was in her future. That is until a “fun job” selling outdoor gear at REI’s Seattle flagship store led to a decades long career in the outdoor industry, including stints at Smith Optics, K2 Sports, and a handful of ski resorts in WA and ID. It was in Sun Valley, Idaho where her true love of the mountains and a more laid-back lifestyle were cemented. In her current home base of Leavenworth, WA, in the heart of the Cascade mountains, where biking, hiking and ski trails are literally right out the front door, Tracie can often be found cruising the trails with her dog, supping the local rivers or enjoying a cold one at a local brewery.
