Lodging

Relax on a deck overlooking a serene lake in the San Juan Islands. Marvel at the impossible blue of Crater Lake from your spacious room above. Indulge yourself at your hotel’s full-service spa in the heart of California’s wine country. These are a few of the wonderful options available to you at some of the places we stay.

Constant Re-Evaluation

Our regional expertise, constant re-evaluation of last year’s inns, and continuing search for the best experience insures that our lodging is always among the finest the area has to offer.

By limiting the number of guests on each trip, we expand our choices and are able to fit into some smaller, award-winning bed and breakfasts and country inns that wouldn’t be able to accommodate a group of 25 or more.

Lodging: Two People to a Room with Private Bath

Lodging is based upon two people to a room with a private bath. If you’re traveling solo on any of our trips, we’ll assign you a roommate of the same gender and often of the same age bracket. There is no extra charge if we can’t find you a roommate, even if you sign up the day before the trip starts. You can guarantee yourself a private room and bath if you pay the Single Room Fee. Occasionally a room with two beds consists of one bed plus a rollaway bed or sofa bed. Call our office to see if this is applicable to the trip and date you select.

Lodging Before & After Your Tour

Need help with lodging before or after your tour? We will help find just the right place whether you are looking for a place to rest before or after your tour or you are hoping to extend your vacation on either end. We know the lodging and the restaurants and can help you find pre and post nights that will be just as magical as the tour.

The rafting trip was really terrific. Something I haven’t done on other BA tours. I really like the special lodgings chosen. The Timberline especially is another lodge that has lots of interesting history. The other lodging was great but the history adds something special. We did luck out with exceptional weather.” ~ Columbia Gorge Eric R., Columbia Gorge
