Sean O’Connell

Sean began his bicycle tour guiding career 8 years ago with Bicycle Adventures after embarking on a self-supported meandering 5,500-mile bicycle ride which led him from Seattle to Glacier National Park then south to Cabo San Lucas Mexico via Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and California. Over the last few years his cycling endeavors have taken to the dirt and he has completed bikepacking routes such as the Baja Divide, Kenai 250, Arizona Trail and his own routes in Costa Rica and Eastern Washington. He has also worked outdoors as a professional SCUBA dive master in SE Asia, kayak guide in the San Juans and experiential education leader for the Spring Street International School. He loves nature, human powered travel and sharing his knowledge and passion for these and more with others.
