North Cascades to Leavenworth Bike Tour
Come and join us for a ride through the captivating and remote North Cascades, Methow Valley, Lake Chelan and Leavenworth areas of Washington State. This region of summits, meadows, orchards vineyards, lakes, and waterfalls just on the other side of the Cascade Mountains is where Seattle-area residents go for a quick and refreshing change of scenery – or weather – or both. Immerse yourself in rugged peaks and passes on the most scenic highway in the state as you travel from west-side rainforests to the basalt canyons, Ponderosa pine forests and sagebrush desert on the east-side of the Cascades. Enjoy a hike to a lookout for more glorious views. Try on some cowboy boots while you kick around the “Old West” town of Winthrop. Then change into some lederhosen for a walk through the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth. You’ll be amazed at the diversity that exists just on the other side of the mountains!
PEDAL HAPPY: We feel this Intermediate level tour is well suited for energetic beginners or beginners on e-bikes as well.
